Plum Project Studio offers flat rate shipping charges within Canada and the US. We guarantee your order will be processed and sent out within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment and try to ship out the same day where possible.
Please note that for fabric orders, we fold all orders of 5 or fewer yards, per print. This practice reduces shipping costs and consumes less energy resources. Minor wrinkles that may occur during shipping are easily removed with an iron.
Canada
Within Canada, we ship with Canada Post expedited parcel service, packages are insured. Flat rate shipping fees are as follows:
$0 to $100 = $7.95*
$101 and over ship for Free*
Starting in February '10, products may also be picked up locally at our studio location in North Vancouver.
United States:
$0 to $50 = $8.95*
$51 to $100 = $12.95*
$101 and over ship for Free*
International Orders:
We are happy to ship to international customers. International orders are automatically quoted $35 in shipping. If actual shipping charges are lower, appropriate refunds will be issued. If actual shipping charges are higher, the amount will be requested from you prior to sending the shipment.
If you prefer, please email your order to us and we will provide you with a quote for shipping prior to processing your order.
Delivery Estimates and Tracking
Canada Post guarantees delivery within 1-3 business days for British Columbia and 2-7 days for the rest of Canada. When your order is shipped, we will send you an email with your Canada Post tracking number and you can monitor this online at www.canadapost.com.
US and International orders will take approximately 7-10 business days but may take longer depending on the destination, so please allow for extra delivery time for customs clearance. When shipping to the US or Internationally, additional duties and taxes may apply and they are the responsibility of the purchaser. We will send you tracking information for the most cost effective shipping company and you will receive an email with your tracking details.
We recycle packaging whenever possible. We will often reuse packaging that our suppliers have shipped products to us in for your orders.
*Please note oversized or bulkier items may be subject to an additional overweight handling surcharge to cover the extra shipping fees or a reduction from Expedited to Regular Post. If applicable, this charge will be noted in the product description section on the individual product page.
Returns
Our minimum fabric purchase varies by material from 1/4 to full yard increments. We do not accept returns for cut yardage, patterns or tools.
Within 30 days of purchase, we accept returns on project kits and yarn, when returned in pristine condition in their original packaging.
Please note, you will be refunded the cost of the product, however the shipping charges are non-refundable. The shipping cost incurred to return the item is also at the purchaser's expense.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the merchandise is not in its original condition or packaging.
